The Edo Community Rotterdam Netherlands, under the leadership of our President, Mr. Fred Iyiriaro, is committed to promoting humanitarian values and uplifting the lives of individuals within our community and beyond. In the spirit of these values, we embarked on a charitable mission in November 2023 to provide financial assistance to individuals in need and donate essential supplies to a local orphanage home.
Hospital Bill Assistance
Our organization recognizes the importance of health and well-being in the lives of our community members. To this end, we visited the University of Benin Teaching Hospital in November 2023 to extend a helping hand to those facing medical bills they could not afford. It is with great pleasure that we report the successful payment of hospital bills for five patients. This intervention aimed to alleviate the financial burden on these individuals, ensuring that they receive the necessary medical care and can focus on their recovery without the added stress of mounting medical expenses.
Orphanage Home Donation
In our ongoing efforts to support and uplift the most vulnerable members of our community, we also made a heartwarming donation of foodstuffs to a local orphanage home. This contribution is aligned with our commitment to ensuring that no one goes to bed hungry. The donation included essential food items that will help provide nutritious meals for the children residing in the orphanage. We strongly believe in nurturing the well-being and future prospects of these young minds.
